The story
How Mustafa built it.
“Four hundred dollars in my first eighteen days. I did not expect that from a shop I built in class.”
Mustafa came to Batch 1 of the Etsy Online Course looking for something he could run from home. He settled on sewing patterns — printable templates for people who sew their own clothes and bags — because they cost nothing to deliver and sell to buyers all over the world.
His shop opened at the end of September 2026. In its first 18 days it made $400 in sales, which is further than most new shops get in their first few months. The listings, the keywords and the mockups were all built during the course.
He is now adding patterns and putting together bundles, which is where the course says the steady income comes from.
